Finding True North: [phrase/idiom] to get on the right course; to proceed in the right direction
For us (Anubha Momin and Sara Statham), the right direction was north – to Canada’s newest, largest, and most remote territory: Nunavut. For various reasons (school, career, love, adventure), we both ended up living and working in Iqaluit, the nation’s northernmost capital city.
But moving north isn’t just about moving up. It’s about reconsidering your realities as you discover the people, places, and peculiarities of this frozen land. It’s about finding your true north.
Finding True North is a collection of the images, thoughts, and miscellanea that define our lives in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Follow our blog as we get lost and found in the Great White North.
