About Anubha

Co-Founder and Managing Editor

Anubha was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her journey north has been a life-changer: she now owns a bug jacket, sews her own parkas, and has upgraded to a full driver’s license after holding a learner’s for a decade.

When she’s not sewing or driving, Anubha spends her time as a communications/social media consultant with Atiigo Media and Production/Digital Media Manager for Qanurli?, an Inuktitut comedy series filmed in Nunavut. She is also a freelance writer/photographer whose work you can find in publications like Vice, Briarpatch, Up Here Magazine, and others. Anubha is also proud to be a mentor for the Wanderful Blogging Program and the Programming Lead for the Women in Travel Summit.

About Sara

Co-Founder and Contributor

Sara grew up on the west coast of Canada, and never thought she would trade in a liquid ocean for a frozen bay, or a forested landscape for a barren tundra. As a Vancouver Island transplant living on Baffin Island, Sara loves exploring the complete opposite side of her home and native land.

Professionally, Sara considers herself to be a geographer, Arctic researcher, and food security enthusiast. Personally, Sara considers herself to be a fair weather outdoorswoman, internally conflicted traveler/homebody, and self-proclaimed Microsoft Paint Program connoisseur.

You can follow Sara on Twitter at @SaraAshleyGrant.
