Today is Nunavut Day! Canada’s youngest territory is at the tender age of 15, still learning, growing, and making changes. To celebrate this auspicious day, we have been featuring our favourite photos using the hashtag #nunagram via our Instagram account all week (to learn more about #nunagram and our weekly contest, check out this post!). With over 700 tagged photos at the time of posting, nunagram has been connecting Nunavut photographers across this great land, and sharing their world with anyone who takes the time to click the tag.

Most weeks, we choose one outstanding photo as our Nunagram Winner; however, for Nunavut’s 15th birthday, we decided to parse through all the entries to find 15 must-see nunagram photos that showcase the landscapes, foods, faces, and stories of the territory. These photos have been submitted by travellers and residents, professionals and amateurs, from Kitikmeot to the north Baffin Island. Check out these photos and the user profiles to get a glimpse of what and whom Nunavut is all about.
